Wikinomics, Project 2

Posted Thursday 4/10/2008 4:48 PM

As I wrote in an email this week, I hope you considered the following questions, which we'll discuss in class tonight:
  • Tapscott and Williams use the word "harnessing" all over the place. Who is this word meant for? How does it relate to the broader ideas of Wikinomics?
  • What lessons can businesses learn (think about your current/past workplaces to get started) from the mess that the RIAA has made of file sharing and the music industry?
  • What role does knowledge management play in all of this? Why are we reading this book in this class?
  • What can we take from Chapter 9 with respect to building the prototype WikiRicula system?
  • How does Wikinomics build on or challenge previous readings in this course?

The bulk of our evening tonight, though, will be spent working on Project 2 (see the list of activities on the calendar). Also check out the new namespace on the Wiki, WikiRicula. [Read More]
